Synopsis

The non-profit, non-partisan San Antonio Clean Technology Forum provides the citizens of San Antonio with a continuing opportunity to explore the city's future energy needs and options. Our Sept. 16 program will feature prominent energy experts who will speak on both sides of CPS Energy's proposed participation in the expansion of the South Texas Project nuclear power plant. Ample time is being reserved for audience participation following the panel's formal presentations. The Forum believes this decision is one of the most critical ever debated in San Antonio and our Sept. 16 event is scheduled less than two weeks before the final vote by CPS Energy Board of Trustees and a little more than one month before City Council makes its decision.
